FAQ
Common Questions & Answers
How do you onboard a new client?
A short discovery call, then we collect prior-year financials, SARS profile access, payroll register and chart of accounts. Most clients are fully onboarded within two weeks.
Do you work with my existing bookkeeper?
Yes. We regularly review, reconcile and sign off on work prepared by in-house bookkeepers, and take care of the higher-level accounting, payroll and tax submissions.
What is a SARS Tax Practitioner?
A SARS-registered Tax Practitioner is an accredited professional authorised by SARS to submit tax returns and represent taxpayers. Practitioners must be members of a recognised controlling body (we are members of SAIT) and meet ongoing CPD requirements.
Which accounting and payroll software do you support?
Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and SimplePay for payroll. We submit through SARS eFiling and EasyFile. If you're not on cloud accounting yet, we'll help you migrate.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
The practice is fully remote - we serve clients anywhere in South Africa. Everything is cloud-based and handled online, so there is no travel or in-person work required.
Is my information safe?
Yes. We comply with the POPIA Act, applying data encryption in transit and at rest, and we operate in line with current South African tax laws. Our handling of personal information follows the policies published by the Information Regulator - see inforegulator.org.za/acts.
